Goo News & Reviews
Sept. 2-7,2005
Premier projector manufacturer Epson obviously has excellent taste! For their exhibit at IFA 2005, the world's largest electronics and IT expo, Epson chose to demonstrate their new projectors on Screen Goo screens.
The heart of the Epson display was a light controlled room in their booth featuring four new Home Theatre projectors. Their EMP-TW600 illuminated a 270 x 152cm (approximately 120" diagonal) Digital Grey base coat and Digital Grey Lite top coat screen. The EMP-TW520 was partnered with a 200 x 112cm (approximately 90" diagonal) Digital Grey top and base coat screen. They also displayed their EMP-TW20 projector on a 150 x 84cm (approximately 67" diagonal) Digital Grey base and Ultra Grey top coat screen. Last but not least, the incredibly small prototype Projektion Screen 4, made beautiful images on a 120 x 90 cm (approximately 60" diagonal) CRT White top coat and base coat screen.
Attendee response was fantastic and we're looking forward to partnering again with Epson in the future.
Kudos to Axel Bambach of European Goo Systems distributor, Bambach Trading Co., for his efforts in preparing the screens for the expo and his diligent work at the Epson booth.
Special thanks to Rainer van de Weyer, Senior Product Manager Visual Instruments, EPSON Deutschland GmbH and to Marcus Meyer-Everdt, Managing Director TVD Trans Video Deutschland Vertriebs GmbH, distributor for EPSON projectors.
